Dry those eyes and flush those depression meds. If you’re looking for a way to fight through the bad shit in your life, pound it out in the pit to Weltessers debut, full length album, Crestfallen. One of Florida’s own best kept, underground secrets, Crestfallen would be the soundtrack to the apocalypse, if it had one. Foreboding and bleak, it may be, if the end of the world was upon us, I would want Weltesser to lead me into the darkness with “Regret” and close the lid on my coffin to the track “Terminal“.
Crestfallen releases via Prostetic Records on February 10, 2017, and will host a record release party at The Emerald in St. Petersburg, FL on February 11, which will be their first show this year. Self-produced and engineered by Dan Byers, Crestfallen features six tracks laden with somber, melodic penetration that is sure to chill you to the bone. Yet, when the pummeling oppression ends, the quiet is deafening, leaving you begging for more.
Weltesser is formed by: Ian Hronek- formerly of Rotting Palms and Landbridge
Nate Peterson-Rotting Palms, Sky Burial, and Mike Amador also of Landbridge
Crestfallens six doom ridden tracks are:
