The last stop of a month long tour brought Vesta Collide to the intimate side-stage of In the Venue. Bathed in blue light, Vesta Collide lined up, ready to scream into the ears of hardcore rock fans.
From synchronized head-banging to fist-clenching passion, Vesta Collide left their souls on the stage and impact driven lyrics behind them. Though the set was short, as openers have to be, the essence of each artist was long-lasting.
Not only did these young artists have a connection with their audience, they had a link to each other. That effect was crystal clear in their movements and in their instrumentals. They played with the unity of close relationships, and they rocked with skill usually only learned with age. After the show, I had the chance to speak with two of these musicians, and found their dynamics were as true as seen on the stage. This is a band, brothers, best friends, and above all, performers.
