Home to great bands like Good Charlotte and Ballyhoo, Maryland has birthed some of the greatest artists of all time. From the same neck of the woods in Annapolis, Md., Veer is no exception to the rule. After the release of their debut single “Come Clean,” bringing back that mid 90’s grunge/alternative rock, seems to be the name of the game, and I’m ready to play. Banded together, members from Kelly Bell Band, Nellie Blide, and Public Eye, brothers Jon and Ron Malfi along with Ryan Fowler and Christian Mathis, are no stranger to the music scene. Veer has been on the tips of quite a few tongues lately, (how do you like that tongue twister?) in anticipation of their new album, due to release this summer. When it comes to songs like “Power Drive,” “Come Clean,” and “Douse,” you don’t even need to know the meaning of the lyrics, to know that Veer’s fearless delivery of pulse pounding guitar riffs and hook-i-licious choruses, are enough to shake the tweeters in your speakers, and rock their way to the top.
So, take a moment to check out “Come Clean,” and keep close watch for Veer’s debut album releasing this summer.
