If you want beer-drinkin’ party rock and raw entertainment that will carry the jukebox all night long, well, here it is. THE WILD! are releasing Wild At Heart on February 17, 2017 with eOne Music. Fresh from supporting Airborne on a fall North American tour, these four guys from Canada are ready to deliver the goods to your ear-holes.
From top to bottom, this album is fully packed with hard hitting powerful classic rock anthems. With a voice similar to Bon Scott, formerly of AC/DC (God rest his soul), Dylan Villain provides strong lungs, gritty Southern-style vocals, and some glam rock melodies. His voice is sure to get the ladies dancing on the bar with songs like “Another Bottle.” It has a party-rock vibe, but with a lyrical message of life struggles and being stuck in the bottle.
It turns your real life issues into Fuck it, I’m alive” moments. “Six Hundred Sixty Six” is a snappy, riffy, gasoline fueled tune that will urge you to hit repeat over and over again. The style hones some serious craftsmanship work on the guit-fiddle. Another classic will definitely be “Down at the Bottom” with its serious guitar work. This album has absolutely everything a rock and roll album needs plus more. There are too many favorites to name them all. So, give this record a listen, turn the stereo to 11, and roll the windows down.
Their first album GxDxWxB, which literally translates to “God Damn Wild Boys” was just the same. Picture your typical family picnic in a park. You pack a lunch, a blanket, a basket, settings, etc., then realize you just set up shop next to a bunch of drunken tomfoolery. You’ll either love it or hate it. Wild at Heart brings what you forgot to pack to the picnic: heart and soul. Even though these boys aren’t from America, it’s that stereotypical ‘Merica style of rock that’ll leave you satisfied.
