Ryder is pleased to announce the release of their upcoming EP For What It’s Worth. This will be the first official follow up to the release of their studio EP IV last January, and their single Is Rock N Roll Dead? This past May. For What It’s Worth will also be the first release from the band to feature Billy Smith on drums, and Tim Freyr on bass guitar.
For What It’s Worth was recorded live in Queens, NY based club Blackthorn 51. Alexey Menkov serves as engineer and mixer for the upcoming release. For What It’s Worth will feature songs like “Do or Die”, “Slave to Love”, and a new song “L.O.A. Club.”
“We just wanted to try something different,” said Vocalist/Guitar Player James Ryder. “The band has grown significantly since the last time we put something out and a live EP seems like the best way to capture the energy of this growth so we can move forward with new studio material in the future.”
Ryder is coming off a successful run in California that included performances at the Whisky a Go Go and Rainbow Bar and Grill. They will also be performing at Rocklahoma for the first time later this year.
For What It’s Worth is scheduled to be released on February 13th and will be available for download on multiple platforms including iTunes and Spotify.
