Remada, originally a rock/rap band formed in 2014 from the suburbs of Chicago, has recently shifted to a slightly harder and heavier sound, while still holding true to their rap style. Their latest single, “A Better Tomorrow,” is an ideal sample of their fresh-heavier sound.
The song combines heavy guitar-work with strong vocals and outstanding chanting style lyrics. As great as this song sounds recorded, I’ve watched a few of their live performances and can bet this song will be even more incredible live. The lyrics are catchy and combined with chants that will make for an amazing performance.
The band lists on their press release Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, and Limp Bizkit as their influences. These bands definitely helped inspire Remada’s new sound. Although not listed as an influence, I can hear hints of P.O.D. in this song. “A Better Tomorrow” is available now and their EP will be available on April 29th.
