Out In The Streets Music & Arts Festival returns July 15th & 16th at its exciting new location – THE WELL BROOKLYN – a massive bar, public house, and performance space housed in the former Hittleman Brewery, a historic building erected in 1867 and a surviving gem on Brooklyn’s once famed Brewer’s Row.
Fusing steadfast Brooklyn staples – Caveman, A Place To Bury Strangers, Monogold – with some of the hottest latin-american sounds – Buscabulla, Tall Juan, Balun, Ela Minus – and some gritty new Brooklyn underground rock & roll – Acid Dad, Grim Streaker, Pink Mexico, Monograms, Surf Rock Is Dead, Journalism – a splash of high-energy dance-pop – Crush Club – and high-concept chamber pop – Cuddle Magic – some modern new-wave flair – Psychic Twin, Suburban Living, plus a full-on marching band – What Cheer Brigade, Out In The Streetshas something for every curious music lover. The event will feature performances by 18+ bands over the course of two days.
The stunning space at The Well features an astonishing vaulted ceiling that frames 4,000 square feet punctuated by strikingly massive columns, as well as an 11,000 square foot backyard space that includes the main stage, an outdoor bar and an elevated private VIP area. This unique historical location will make the event a hugely memorable experience.
The festival will also include a “pop-up” market, a food court featuring some of the best local Bushwick restaurants, carefully curated artist installations and much, much more!

What started as a modest DIY event on a Bushwick street corner in 2009, Out In The Streets has steadily grown into a reliable outlet for premiere Brooklyn bands and artists. With the amazing help of local businesses over the years, the hyper-local micro music & arts festival is a passionate community effort that has resulted in an exciting multimedia event that is widely anticipated throughout the region.
A wide array of exciting bands have graced the OUT IN THE STREETS main stage in past years, including memorable sets by A Place To Bury Strangers, Frankie Rose, Potty Mouth, Weyes Blood, The So So Glos, Mr Twin Sister, Body Language, Honduras, Psychic Twin, TEEN, PILL, B Boys, Big Ups, Doldrums, EZTV, Beverly, Pictureplane, Cities Aviv, Guerilla Toss, Hunters, Future Punx, + many more.
