Take a listen to Lynch Mob‘s new CD The Brotherhood and you’ll hear a band that has gone the distance — 27 years as a matter of fact — and paid its dues. This CD promises to deliver a genuine rock experience not only to its loyal fan base, but for any fan of solid rock and roll.
The opening track kicks this album off right. “Main Offender” features the cool vocals of Oni Logan and the recognizable riffs of the axe master, former Dokken guitarist George Lynch. The journey continues as they deliver a one-way ticket to letting the good times roll MIA style with “I’ll Take Miami.” Everyone will definitely be yearning for a trip to South Beach.
“Last Call Lady” transports the listener to any bar where on any given day you find guys out there with this tale of woe. Lynch Mob takes it a necessary step further by providing the perfect accompanying music and lyrics. The relatable sentiments keep rolling with the song “Where We Started,” which brings raw emotions swirling to the surface. Who hasn’t been crushed by betrayal and heartbreak?
Listeners will find themselves mesmerized by the introduction of “The Forgotten Maiden’s Pearl,” with the vocals lending themselves to the already exotic energy pumping throughout this CD. As the album progresses, “Black Heart Days” comes at you hard and fast, unrelenting throughout the song.
“Until the Sky Comes Down” is another strong example of how song after song on this album delivers. These tunes all find themselves with unusual finishes, making the listener wistful of the last note. This is most definitely found in the moving song “Miles Away” which leaves the listener feeling the intense emotions behind the lyrics and music. The refrain “I’m coming home” is apropos because this song really brings it home. My favorite track, “Until I Get My Gold,” is just that; pure gold that draws me in with every listen.
Lynch Mob’s The Brotherhood is a necessary addition to the music libraries of anyone looking for some good old rock and roll. Every musical moment is enjoyable, and every song addictive.
The Brotherhood, produced by Chris “the Wizard” Collins, is set to release on September 08, 2017. You can pre-order it by clicking the link.
