Death metal music icons Integrity, have gone and done it again. With almost 30 years of breaking genre specific rules and setting the bar for countless bands, Integrity drops Howling, For The Nightmare Shall Consume.
Integrity’s music has been called many things, but predictable is not one of them. Blending subjects such as the occult, religion, war, and personal struggles, vocalist Dwid Hellion and guitarist Domenic Romeo has lifted the veil between the living and the dead and let the darkness seep in. If you were expecting your run of the mill mosh-pit worthy kind of album, you better think again. Perilous and haunting, Howling, For The Nightmare Shall Consume released via Relapse Records just may be their most genius album to date. Lucky for me, I was given the opportunity to chat with guitarist Domenic Romeo about their long career, the new album and the story behind it. Check it out below and be sure to pick up the new album, it’s out right now guys.
