Hollywood Undead's second studio album "American Tragedy," scheduled to be released April 5th was actually a pleasant surprise. Having a sound Pigeon-holed as "Rap/Rock" I was a little skeptical going in. To me, bands that go for the Rap/Rock sound either pass or fail. Well upon further inspection I give them a resounding PASS! The songs are not limited to the usual format or template. Blending good lyrics with nice delivery over outstanding music and beats, "American Tragedy" hits a home-run. Songs like "Coming Back Down" and "Been to Hell" not only have lyrically mind-blowing verses but melodically anthem-ish chorus' that are sure to have the guys as well as the girls singing along and waving their hands in the air. Be sure to get a copy of "American Tragedy" and get your ass to the club when they come around... Support the scene, don't be a tool... Damn the man... SAVE THE EMPIRE!!!
