Frequents of The Webster Theater, Connecticut four-piece hard rock band In The Red, brought quite the following to this show. Hailing from the area, there were a ton of fans lining up on the rail to see them play, all in their In The Red t-shirts and stickers.
Every time I see these guys perform, they impress me more and more. Having to fill in their bass position with less than two weeks notice, the solution was Arthur Pelletier. He stepped up to the plate, and in less than a week, learned all of the songs with excellent depth and great gear.
Cody Place absolutely destroys their shows every time. His range, from flawless crisp high tones to screaming parts, is impeccable. They had a short set, but with their hits “Bad Apple,” “In The Blink of an Eye,” and “Good Girl,” the crowd was impressed.
In The Red just released their newest EP, New Blood and it is doing quite well. With lots of airtime in the local scene, expect them to be hitting the road soon in support of a national act.
