Hinder hit San Diego Like a Storm, quite literally, with the latter band opening up for the former in a special stripped performance on June 29, 2016 at the House of Blues in San Diego, California. This show was absolutely incredible with both bands rocking their acoustic sides. Hinder played songs from all 5 records, kicking it off with Intoxicated from their new EP “Stripped”, which features alternate versions of songs off their latest album. The setlist included 15 songs, with one being a mash up of 12 songs. They played a blend of new and old Hinder favorites along with a few covers — what a performance, so creative and perfectly put together! The show was fun and entertaining. The guys mixed it up and swapped instruments like musical chairs. Marshal Dutton’s vocals were flawless, and he played the piano and even went out on to the floor to interact with the crowd. What an experience for fans, so special in this intimate setting! Despite all the changes Hinder has endured, they are better and stronger than ever, and their connection is so obvious, making great music together. This acoustic show is a definite must do next time they come to a city near you!
