Hell or Highwater is a kick ass dirty rock band fronted by none other than former Atreyu drummer, Brandon Saller. When you want vocals, call on no man, but Brandon. His range was absolutely astounding, and the way he worked the crowd should be exactly how any opener should approach a gig.
We all expect the early acts won’t have the draw they should. As an avid concertgoer, I always see certain bands not getting the recognition they deserve or the crowd following their performances should have. However, here in New York City, at The Gramercy Theatre, there is no shortage of music fans, and the crowd arrived early and hungry for a taste.
Performing for about a half-hour, vocalist Brandon Saller stayed on stage for, maybe, a total of five minutes. His vibe and energy whisked him into the crowd. Standing on monitors, the bars, up and down the stairs towards the rear seats, he found his way around the small venue. He shook hands and met fans, while staying in time and tune with the band. It was an incredible experience. Fans were able to have this special moment with a band they know and love, and for those new to the Hell or Highwater music, they had a great chance to see what they were really all about.
They’re currently on tour with Nothing More, and will be until the end of May. Their new album Vista drops on May 19th! See the links below to Pre-Order now!
