Close your eyes, turn on “Highway Tune” and let the nostalgia take you back to better days. When music meant something and the passion in the lyrics provoked movement. Rock music is said to have died, or at least lost it fire. These young men have brought the magic back and are ready to breathe life into this generation of music. Rock infused roots to rich and flavorful soul, the four track, Black Smoke Rising EP is the gateway to a new era in music. I had the pleasure of chatting with guitarist Jake Kiska, and I was really intrigued by how young yet so seasoned, their sound is.
