In a small town where animals outnumber people, Stafford Springs, CT; A young and hungry band named HERO was ready to make their debut in the rock/metal scene at the Palace Theater. A three piece from Somers, CT full of energy and talent, took the stage promptly at 8pm. Typically, when the opening acts are tearing up the stage, most people haven’t even arrived yet. This was not the case. There was a line outside of the venue that stretched a whole New York City block before doors opened. The locals had filled this venue! With a venue that holds less than 350 metal heads, these young men tore through their six song set with perfect timing for a debut show and raw emotion, eventually closing their set with a great rendition of Down With the Sickness by Disturbed. The crowd loved these guys! Keep your eyes open for these newcomers.
