The time 10:30 pm, the place The Depot on Charles St. in Baltimore, Md. The band, Carousel Kings. Being labeled as an easycore band is far from accurate in my opinion. More like, throw your favorite band tee on and comfy pair of Vans, and lose yourself in the energy, fun-filled sounds of Lancaster, Pa’s own Carousel Kings. Now signed to Victory Records and headlining The Charmed Cities Tour, CK’s had transformed a local Baltimore nightclub into a rockin, popolicious house party. The lights were low, the disco ball overhead reflected beams of light, and the room seemed to magically move in motion with the music. Standing inches from the crowd, vocalist David Alexander poured on his not so punk, not so pop, infectious, edgy hooks. From first song till last, Carousel Kings attracted a packed house of people and gave an arena worthy performance. Oh and one more thing, you are encouraged to pick up Carousel Kings latest album called Charm City ,and jam the hell out of it.
P.S. Don’t forget to check out the bands who also help make this tour a possibility.
