Almost Kings is back, bigger (literally, six members now) and bolder. Forever This Time is the first, full length project for the current lineup. Unsigned, yet continuously touring, AK is determined to grind until its smooth. Not only does the band have both an X-Games and Grammy Awards performance under their belt, they are doing big things in support of the home team. Catch Almost Kings, October 1st for their pre-game concert prior to the Atlanta Falcons game.
Almost Kings is hip-hop infused party rock that delivers truth, without holding back punches, yet leaves you smiling. If you aren’t bouncing around listening to AK, or feel emboldened after their live show, you aren’t doing it right. The energy that travels through their sound is contagious.
Forever This Time brings Jude Buckingham to join forces with front man, Boze. Jude infuses his own creative aesthetic and naturally compliments Boze’s already established, sick and well-crafted flow. Title track “Forever This Time” gives a feel of what Breezy (DJ Breezus Khrist) can do with a breakdown. “Envy and Enemies” will leave any enemies where they lie. The track infers a raw glimpse into the push and pull created by the music industry and the personal relationships that get effected.
Almost Kings gave us just a taste of what’s to come with Forever This Time. A new chapter has been written for AK and it is already propelling the band to new heights. If you find yourself near Atlanta, August 25th, come out to the Atlanta Coliseum to support the physical release of the album. They’ll be there as part of The Deplorables tour supporting their friends The Lacs. The band plans for adigital release of their work, September 15th.
