In the wake of professional and personal loss, electronic industrial rock group, Adoration Destroyed, is choosing regeneration with the release of their newest EP Ritual Deconstruction on August 25, 2017. As the first release after the unexpected death of bassist Jon Gilyeat last year, Ritual Deconstruction is tribute to the past and progression to the future with both new and remixed music included.
Founding member and lead singer, Erik Gustafson wanted to move forward without forgetting the group’s history. The EP salutes Gilyeat with the inclusion of his final performance, “Carnal Dirge (Interface Remix)”. Also on tap are remixes of “Torn Apart (The Rain Within Remix)”, “Voices Carry (Crossroads Mix Feat. Ego Likeness)” and “Never Mind Redux”. The new versions stay true to the dark core of Adoration’s identity, but also provide the path to future growth in a developing genre.
New to the Adoration Destroyed catalog are “Timelapse” and Fingerbleed.” Both are rooted in the grinding industrial rock that evokes images of dark times and darker emotions. The gritty depth of Gustafson’s voice brings weight and power to the lyrics and firmly anchors the group as they take the next step in their evolution.
Moving forward with the group, fans of Adoration Destroyed will not be disappointed with their latest work. Electronic industrial resonance paired with the heavy rock themes will attract new fans as well. Look for tour dates being released in late October 2017.
